- Verbier is full of charm and surrounded by spectacular snowcapped mountains. In Winter, Verbier is at the heart of the Four Valley ski area which is Switzerland’s largest and has 410km of pistes and visitors are drawn to the combination of exceptional mountains for snowsports and a town that has a thrilling nightlife and a broad range of bars and restaurants. In Summer, hiking and biking trails are popular and the meadows on the mountains are full of wild flowers and gentle streams.
- The highest Mountain next to Verbier is Mont Fort at 3330m and the viewing platform at the top of this mountain offers a spectacular panorama of the Matterhorn, Dent Blanche, Dent d’Herons, and Mont Blanc Massif in Chamonix. Verbier has over 400km of mountain hiking trails and more than 200km of bike trails which range from family friendly trails to adrenaline fueled technical downhill tracks for experts. There are many activities available such as high altitude golf, paragliding, climbing and horse riding.
- Wide range of excellent restaurants, bars and cafés in the village. Excellent restaurants on the surrounding mountains. Cuisine to suit all tastes, young and old. One of our favourite mountain restaurants is Dahu! One of our favourite après ski bars for the evening is The Lounge at The Farinet! Many famous celebrities visit Verbier each year; some of these have included Royal Families from Great Britain and Denmark, Sir Richard Branson, Jude Law, The Beckhams, Leonardo DiCaprio, Madonna, and James Blunt who lives in Verbier and has a lift named after him!

Highlights include The Extreme Verbier Final of the Freeride World Tour, The Patrouille des Glaciers, Polaris Festival, Verbier International Music Festival, Verbier Bike Fest, Verbier International Equestrian Show Jumping Competition, the Saint Bernard Dog Museum and Breeding Centre and a range of other events and cultural activity within an easy 1 hour drive of Verbier.
